Who are BIlly Kids?
Billy Kids is an online children's bookstore. We are based in Melbourne, Australia.
What books do you stock?
We stock a select range of children's books, specialising in Australian authors and the best international authors. We also have a select range of excellent parenting titles by predominantly Australian authors.
Why can't I find the book I'm after?
Billy Kids limits its range to around 300 titles at any one time. We find this quantity is easier to manage and by being picky about the books that we stock, ensures that your selections will be better. We hope to stock the best titles but are more than happy to hear your suggestions for new additions!
When will I receive my books?
Billy Kids will make every attempt to post your books within 24 hours of receiving your order (during business hours). Australian addresses should receive books within three to five days. If where you live is in an Express Post area (check at the Australia Post website) you can select this option at checkout which usually means your delivery will be received within 2 days. International delivery times are a little difficult to estimate but most should be delivered within two weeks.
What are the delivery costs?
Currently, delivery is a flat rate of $5 per order to any single destination within Australia, no matter how many books you order. Express Post is an option and costs $10 per order to any single destination within Australia.

I live in Melbourne. Can I come and pick up the books?
Billy Kids does not have a store front address, so unfortunately cannot offer this to you at this time.
Can I get a book delivered to someone as a gift?
Yes. Gift wrapping is offered when you visit your shopping cart. Make sure you include in the shipping address the details of the person you want the books sent to. You can also add a gift message when you proceed to the checkout. Gift wrapping and tagging is AUD$1.50 per item. The checkout process will assist you with these options.
What if I'm not happy with the condition of my books when they are delivered?
If the books are damaged when you receive them from Billy Kids, send them back to us and we will give you a refund (or replacement if you wish) and we will refund your return mail costs. We endeavour to send out every book in excellent condition with strong packaging, however once it is in the mail we cannot ensure that it will be looked after as well as we would.
If you have changed your mind about your selection you can send the books back (at your expense) within 30 days and as long as they are received in saleable condition, we will give you a credit note for the cost of the books.
